Lamination seals a document between two layers of clear film using heat (or pressure), protecting it against water, dirt, tearing and UV fading. Menus, ID badges, teaching materials, instruction cards and certificates keep their day-one look for years.
Teknik Atılım offers its own SARFF and UBER laminating machines together with films in every size and thickness. Buying the machine and consumables from the same supplier eliminates compatibility issues and simplifies stock management for our dealers.

In hot lamination the film bonds to the document with heat — the most common and economical method. Cold lamination works with pressure and is preferred for heat-sensitive materials such as some photo papers, inkjet prints and thermal receipts.
Micron is the thickness of the film. 75-100 micron is flexible and economical; 125 micron is the office and school standard; 175-250 micron gives a card-stiff, heavy-use finish. Never exceed the maximum micron your machine supports.
Glossy film makes colors pop and suits visual jobs like menus and posters. Matte film prevents glare; it is ideal for instruction cards read under bright light and for documents you need to write on.
Stop the machine and use the reverse function. Most jams are caused by the wrong size/micron or feeding the pouch without a carrier. If it persists, contact Teknik Atılım technical service.
