A lever guillotine cuts thick stacks in a single stroke — speed and capacity come first. A rotary trimmer's blade glides on a rail; it cuts fewer sheets far more precisely, and since the blade is enclosed it is safer for schools and homes.
Capacity is quoted for standard 80 gsm paper. Models for 10-15 sheets suit personal use, 30-40 sheets office use, and 60+ sheets are print-shop class. Heavier paper reduces the capacity proportionally.
Most Dahle guillotines use self-sharpening steel blades that stay sharp for years. When replacement is needed, spare blades and installation support are available from Teknik Atılım's authorized service.
Cutting lengths range from A5 to A0. A4 and A3 are the most common choices; for large-format posters we recommend wide-base professional models.
Modern guillotines include finger guards, blade locks and stack clamps as standard. Rotary trimmers keep the blade fully enclosed — the recommended type for school and home use.
